We caught up with Reed Kessler right after her last class today at Spruce Meadows (frankly, I don’t know how she managed to ride). Just a few hours earlier, she had received “The Phone Call” telling her that she was on the US Olympic Show Jumping Team. We asked her to describe the sequence of events – she does an awesome George Morris impression, chatted about her horses, how she explained the rise of the “Grand Prix teenagers” and what advice she would give to young riders competing at this year’s North American Junior and Young Rider Championships.
